Cultivating Calmness and Happiness from Within. These classes are an introduction to mindfulness meditation in the insight meditation (Vipassana) tradition and provide support in establishing a mindfulness meditation practice. Each class starts with an educational talk/teaching on the theme of the week, followed by beautiful guided meditations and an opportunity in every class for Q&A and/or reflections. The themes covered throughout the weeks are Mindfulness of breath, body, emotions, thoughts, awareness, and how to integrate mindfulness into daily life. Classes also incorporate compassion-based practices, or 'heart meditations' for example, loving-kindness, compassion, happiness/joy and equanimity. These classes are for anyone who has already completed the 6-week introduction to mindfulness meditation classes or for anyone who wishes to deepen their mindfulness meditation practice, and continue to receive support and guidance. Each class starts with an educational talk/ teaching on the theme of the week, followed by beautiful guided meditations and an opportunity in every class for Q&A and/or reflections. Examples of themes that may be covered throughout the weeks are limiting beliefs, self-compassion with RAIN practice, compassion for others, self-forgiveness, forgiveness of others, gratitude and generosity, working with pain, trauma, impermanence/grief, conflict/anger, harmful habits, equanimity and peace.

Please note that full day and half-day workshops are also available, either as 'once-off' or recurring events.
