The theme of the Retreat is and Embracing Mind, Body and Heart, introducing you to the 'Brahmaviharas', meaning ‘divine abodes’ which are loving-kindness, compassion, joy and equanimity. These beautiful compassion-based practices will prepare you to leave Lughnasa (Autumn) with gratitude for what you’ve sowed and reaped this year and getting ready for Samhain (Winter) a period of hibernation and letting go of anything that no longer serves you.

Cultivating Calmness and Happiness from Within. These classes are an introduction to mindfulness meditation in the insight meditation (Vipassana) tradition. Each class starts with a wisdom talk on the theme of the week, followed by beautiful guided meditations and an opportunity in every class for Q&A and/or reflections. The themes covered throughout the weeks are Mindfulness of breath, body, emotions, thoughts, awareness, and how to integrate mindfulness into daily life. Classes also incorporate compassion-based practices, or 'heart meditations' for example, loving-kindness, forgiveness, happiness/joy and equanimity. I really enjoyed doing the mindfulness with Suzanne and would highly recommend it. It has opened my mind and heart to a whole new inner strength. I find myself in times of stress going "hold on a minute, deep breath" like Suzanne taught us. Suzanne has been a great teacher, full of information and poems. I loved the poem by Rumi called 'The Guest House', which I never heard before. Suzanne's wit and calm voice made meditation very easy for me. I loved the different themes for meditation every week. 1-hour individual appointments are available online via zoom for adults (male or female, minimum age: 18 years+).
Suzanne provides psychoeducation, skills and support for mild to moderate stress or anxiety or how to enhance your overall psychological wellbeing using a person-centred approach. Suzanne will tailor individual bookings around your requirements and preferences, integrating counselling, CBT and mindfulness-based skills and other therapeutic modalities to support and empower you on your journey of enhancing psychological wellbeing with respect, kindness and compassion.
2-hour workshop available onsite at your workplace, community group or organisation (also available online, via zoom). Please contact Suzanne to discuss your business or organisation's requirements so she can tailor a bespoke stress management workshop relevant to your specific requirements. Please note that full day and half-day workshops are also available, either as 'once-off' or recurring events.
Suzanne can also focus on a particular aspect of stress management e.g. resilience or confidence building if you wish. The workshops can be broad introductions or focus on specific topic(s) as required.
Budget friendly option for Workplace Wellbeing. 1-hour in person onsite (or online) Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation classes. These classes can also take place during lunch-hours and are available as requested over four or six weeks, whichever is preferred. Alternatively, full day or half-day workplace mindfulness meditation retreats are also available.
