Tranquility Wellbeing specialises in stress and anxiety management, and enhancing overall wellbeing by providing workshops, mindfulness meditation classes and fabulous wellbeing retreats in county Kildare and Limerick.
Suzanne Hughes (M.Ps.S.I., M.Sc., BA (Hons) set up Tranquility Wellbeing in 2023 because she understands life is stressful with 'the ten thousand joys and the ten thousand sorrows' and is passionate about mental health and wellbeing. She graduated with a M.Sc. in Applied Psychology from Trinity College, and a BA (Hons) in Psychology from DBS College. Suzanne is also completing Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach's Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program and due to graduate in early 2025. This is an intense two-year mindfulness meditation teaching program that is internationally acclaimed, and certified by the Greater Good Science Centre, University of California, Berkeley. Prior to setting up her own business, Suzanne has broad experience of working in psychology services and research in the public sector, with publications and presentations at various conferences. Suzanne applies her knowledge of psychology and mindfulness to enhance wellbeing, with an emphasis on less striving and more thriving!
Tranquility Wellbeing is all about learning practical psychoeducation and skills for managing stress and anxiety in a friendly, down to earth and non-stigmatising way. Suzanne supports you to understand and effectively manage everyday stresses or anxieties, and enhance overall wellbeing. Prior to her psychology qualifications and work experience, Suzanne also worked in the fast-paced corporate sector for many years, therefore she has direct insight into the impact of stress, or 'burn out' in the workplace, and offers bespoke Workplace Wellbeing workshops.
Suzanne treats every individual, group or workplace with kindness, compassion, professionalism and confidentiality. She believes you and/or your workplace or organisation are unique and deserving of a bespoke psychological wellbeing service.
